Anubias barteri

Anubias barteri var. Barteri indigenous from West Africa is one of the most low maintenance plants you will own. Much like the Anubias barteri var. Nana, this plant thrives in all conditions. It grows fairly larger with a height of 25-45 cm tall and the creeping rhizome from 10-15 cm or more. It also varies considerably in terms of size and leaf shape. Plant in shady spots to lessen algae growth. When planted undersurface, do not cover the rhizome. It is perfect for terrariums and paludariums. Herbivorous fish do not eat the robust leaves.

All plants in order were much larger and healthier than expected. Worth every penny. Had them in tank for almost 4 weeks now they haven’t even melted.

This plant is nearly a foot tall and has tons of leaves on it! It looks great. The rhizome is also very long so if I wanted to, I could split it into two plants.

The first one I ordered got stuck in shipping at no fault of the coop and melted soon after receiving. They sent me a new one with no questions asked. It arrived in perfect shape and is now thriving. I would highly recommend this plant.

Super healthy, strong roots. Taller than I expected which I’m thrilled about. Couldn’t be more pleased with this plant. Will always buy what I need from this site!
