Black Pastel Guppies (Also known as: Half Black Guppy Fish) (Poecilia Reticulata) generally have their half body black colored. Although they can show wide variations of colors besides the black.
These are magnificent looking guppies that would make any tank a wonderous bliss to look at. I personally breed and feed them and some of them have pinkish hues at the end of their tails.
Most of my tanks have this guppy in them as they contrast starkly and beautifully with greenish plants. If you like a bit of a snow-ish feel to your aquascape, this is the guppy you should get.
They often have multicolored tails and fins. They have a very deep black color similar to that of a black cat.
This breed is also very hardy. They can withstand a whole slew of different environments and survive – and if you feed them well, they do not even eat their newborn young like other guppy breeds! This means that it is so easy to breed them and multiply them overtime.
Their great fan tails also make for a silkish movement. Truly a magnificent breed!
These are on a limited stock basis here in Aquascape Philippines and they are all personally bred and raised so get them while they are available!
