Aquascape is a trusted partner in my shrimpkeeping hobby. I’ve been doing business with them for a little over a year now and Sean has guided me throught out my journey – from initial setup to maintaining my tank. He has graciously answered all my questions as well. Thank youuuuuu so much Aquascape.

The shrimps came safe! I was also surprised by tons of free plants that came with it. I was really happy! Would probably order here again.

When the Ghost Shrimps arrived, I did the usual acclimation though not the “drip type”. First, I put them floating on top of the tank to equalize the temperature. Then I poured them into a small container but with allowance of adding Aquarium Water. Then instead of a drip, I just mix 1 ml every few minutes (using a pipette) until 2 hours was finished. By that time, they would have adopted to my tank’s pH, KH, GH, & trace nitrates. Instead of releasing them directly, I released them in a plastic transparent “Breeding Container” already immersed in the tank (floating with suckers attached to the side of the glass). The next day, lo & behold!!! Only the Red & Blue RCS were there. The ghost shrimps had escaped by climbing up the submerged plants & floaters I put with them as shelter. So don’t think that ALL shrimps are the same. They are not. I did this same thing with the bigger Amano Shrimps before and they never escaped. I did find them in the tank inside the holes of the dried lotus flower, bathing in the tannins it provides them.

They were healthy upon arrival, and acclimated well. A little too young for my likes; wish they were adult but it’s okay. They were healthy.
Not sure if they got eaten by my betta or not, but regardless, this was a good quality purchase
