Otocinclus
Otocinclus are best known as algae eaters. Care for them is relatively easy. They can grow to be about 1 1/2 – 2 inches when fully mature. Because Otocinclus Catfish size is small, they are very quick fish, being able to dart from one end of the tank to another in a flash. Otocinclus food can also include supplements such as algae wafers and even some fresh vegetables like green zucchini slices.
I highly recommend this fish for any tank, as it is very hardy and doesn’t grow very large.

These fish are almost mandatory for a planted tank – they do a great job of reducing algae in the tank and are great fish to watch dart around your tank…highly recommended!

These little guys are awesome! Excellent algae removers and frisky as puppies! They’re SO fun to watch! Please remember that they really should have at least one other too for companionship – they do better in groups.

I just got two of these today. They took right off and began cleaning. They are fast, too. Zipping across my 75 gal tank like little sprites. So much to clean, so many things to see. Love it
