Myriophyllum Tuberculatum “Red Watermilfoil”
Family Name: Haloragaceae
Origin: Southeast Asia
Maximum Size: 6-12”
pH: 5.0 – 7.0
Growth Rate: fast
Myriophyllum Tuberculatum, also known as the Red Watermilfoil, lives in the slow-flowing and stagnant waters of Southeast Asia and Australia. With its red to orange-red colour, a group of Myriophyllum tuberculatum in the midground of an aquarium is a real eyecatcher and contrasts effectively to green fine-textured plants. Under good conditions, this milfoil grows up toward the surface rapidly, producing many side shoots and becoming very bushy.
